Gender Studies majors will achieve the following Programme Learning Outcomes:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of gender as a subject and as a category of analysis.
Actively reflect upon ordinary/accepted modes of thinking about gender, sexuality and diversity, construct new modes of thinking oriented toward change, and display flexibility in problem solving topics in gender, sexuality, diversity and social justice.
Value diversity and respect individual differences and preferences.
Demonstrate a critical, intersectional awareness of gender, sexuality and diversity in the social and cultural contexts of Hong Kong, China and the world.
Display collective and inclusive teamwork to devise creative solutions, and model respectful interpersonal and intercultural communication.
Display leadership and translate a critical consciousness of gender, equity, and social justice into active participation in the social, cultural, and creative spheres.
